I have used lanolin with breastfeeding my 2 boys. I would only use it as a last resort if my nipples were in great pain because it was so sticky and uncomfortable to apply. I use this cream all the time and it applys on so smooth. It has kept mine from cracking and bleeding like they did with my first born. I have used it for about 3 months and I can't say enough good things about it. If you are not happy with lanolin, this cream is a must.

I tried everything when my twins started nursing because I was so sore and cracked. Nothing seemed to help. I found Lanolin to be AWFUL personally. It was very sticky, and didn't relieve my discomfort. In fact because it prevented air from getting to the irritated skin, it sometimes made it worse. This nipple cream made me feel much better, it went on smooth, and didn't leave behind any distasteful residue. I've even used it on my lips when they were really chapped.
