I actually forgot that I had this and was using butt paste, Balmex, Desitin, Aquafor, Dr. Smith's... I think we tried them all, including prescriptions Vusion and Questran! We had to be careful of any acidic foods because they seemed to give them diarrhea and a terrible rash.

Turns out the best remedy was a little baby corn starch to dry up the skin, some Mylanta or Maalox to neutralize the acidity that caused their discomfort, some more corn starch to dry up the Mylanta (I tried blowing on it or using a blow dryer to dry it more quickly but... I have boys. That doesn't work well. Trust me.), and then Motherlove Diaper Rash & Thrush cream on top. It would clear up the worst of the rash within hours instead of days! Even better, because it also treats thrush or yeast, it worked on all kinds of rashes they got and I didn't have to try and figure out which one it was, or why the remedy I was using wasn't working.
